Zaichū was a painter whose included flowers in many of his pictures. In 1961 some of these pictures were reprinted as lithograph prints in a collection called Omura Hyakuka Zukan (i.e., Shingo Buddhism Flower Picture Collection). This gallery shows thirty-four of these pictures. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Zaichū’s drawing style was influenced both by classical Chinese painting and by the more realistic style of Ōkyo Maruyama.
